Red-footed Falcon revisited (11 June)

Thursday 11 June. I walked from Southwick to Beeding Hill for another look at yesterday's Red-footed Falcon and ended up watching it for four hours. Partly as it is a really smart bird and was on view the whole time and so hard to leave and partly as my original plan to return via Truleigh Hill and Mount Zion to look for the other Red-footed Falcon didn't materialise as it wasn't seen again. As well at the Red-foot and a few friends I'd not seen in ages I saw Cuckoo, 6 Swifts, 3 Buzzards, 2 Kestrels, 9 Sky Larks, 7 Whitethroats and 3 Corn Buntings. Two Swifts flew over the garden in the evening.
