Monday 24 November 2025. Widewater, 07:50-09:10, light/variable winds. On the lagoon: Brent Goose, 30+ Mute and the Back Swan, red-head Goosander, 6 Coot, 12+ Little and a Slavonian Grebe. Offshore and on the beach: Great Crested Grebe (W), 2 Turnstones and 2 Meadow Pipits with 14W. Adur 09:20-09:40: 2 Grey Plover, 72 Great Black-backed Gulls and 2 Yellow-legged Gulls and 16 Cormorants.

Tuesday 25 November 2025. Adur Toll Bridge-Widewater circuit with Otis: 08:45-12:50. On the Adur: red-head Goosander, 7 Lapwings, 2 Grey and 21 Ringed Plover, a Green Sandpiper, the Greenshank (Houseboats), 55 Great Black-backed and the adult Yellow-legged Gull, Goldcrest (Rec pines) and 2 Rock Pipits. Widewater: The Brent Goose, 35 Mute and the Black Swan, an immature Eider (offshore), the Moorhen, 7 Coot, 14 Little, a Great Crested (on the sea) and the Slavonian Grebe, a Razorbill (offshore) and a Kingfisher. |

Wednesday 26 November 2025. Brooklands with Megan and Otis: 3 Mute Swans, Water Rail heard, 100+ Coot, 3 Little Grebes, Great Spotted Woodpecker heard, Jay, Coal Tit and 2 Goldcrests.

Thursday 27 November 2025. Mill Hill with Megan and Otis. 2 Stock Doves, Buzzard, 2 Kestrels and 3 Goldcrests.
Friday 28 November 2025. Beeding Hill triangle, 08:55-12:00, with Otis. Just 21 species, including 60 Stock Doves, Buzzard, 3 Kestrels, 15 Skylarks, single Song Thrush, 3 pairs of Stonechats, 2 Meadow Pipits, 70 Linnets, 65 Goldfinches and 4 Corn Buntings.

Saturday 29 November 2025. Widewater, 07:50-09:25, moderate SW, clear. Seawatch: Common Scoter 1W, Dunlin? 1W, Kittiwake 3W, Red-throated Diver 1W, unidentified diver 1E, unidentified auk 23W, Gannet 5W. On lagoon: red-head Goosander, 6 Coot, 8+ Little and the Slavonian Grebe. Adur with Otis: 2 Grey and 39 Ringed Plover, 6 Dunlin, 67 Great and 5 Lesser Black-backed and 2 near adult Yellow-legged Gulls. |

Adur Old Toll Bridge-Widewater circuit with Otis: 30+ Mute Swans 30+, 17 Teal, red-head Goosander, 4 Coot, 7+ Little and the Slavonian Grebe, 54 Lapwing, 35 Ringed Plover, Curlew, 65 Dunlin, 15+ Redshank, Greenshank, 2 female Sparrowhawks (engaged in a territorial dispute?), Cetti's Warbler heard and 3 Meadow and 4 Rock Pipits. |
