Friday 04 September 2026. Widewater seawatch, 09:30-11:00, mod/strong SW, poor viz: Black-headed Gull 68W, Sandwich Tern 1W, Gannet 6W, Sparrowhawk 1 over A259.

Saturday 05 September 2026. Mill Hill, 07:30-11:00. Sparrowhawk, 2 Buzzards, Jay heard, 10 Swallows, 2 House Martins, 2 Chiffchaffs, 12 Blackcaps, 2 Whitethroats and single Redstart, Pied Flycatcher and Wheatear. River Adur, 11:30-12:30. Black Swan, 23 Ringed Plover, no Little Stint, Dunlin, 2 Little Egrets, Osprey and 2 Red Kites.

Sunday 06 September 2026. Worthing Seafront with Megan and Otis: Oystercatcher 3W.

Monday 07 September 2026. Shoreham Boardwalk/Fort with Megan and Otis: 3 Oystercatchers, 2 Turnstones, 2 Sandwich Terns and 3 Pied Wagtails. Middle Road: 3 Pied Wagtails.

Tuesday 08 September 2026Widewater seawatch, 07:30-09:00, mod SW, poor viz: Wigeon 2W, Gannet 23 W. Happy Valley-Erringham Farm-Mill Hill-home in the rain with Otis: Sparrowhawk, 8 Swallows, Chifchaff, 2 Blackcaps, 7 Whitethroats, 600 Starlings, Chaffinch and 175 Linnets. Adur: Black Swan, 70 Ringed Plover, Curlew Sandpiper, 10 Dunlin, 2 Redshank and Little Egret.

Wednesday 09 September 2026. Brooklands with Megan and Otis: 4 Little Grebes, Little Egret, Grey Heron, Buzzard, Jay and Cetti's Warbler heard, 7 Chiffchaffs and 2 Goldcrests

Thursday 10 September 2026. Steyning Round Hill (Monarch's Way to Rifle Range). Red Kite, Wryneck, 2 Great Spotted and a Green Woodpecker, 3 Kestrels, Jay, 10 Swallows, 70 House Martins, Willow Warbler, Chiffchaff heard, 8 Blackcaps, a Lesser and 2 Common Whitethroats, 3 Spotted Flycatchers, Redstart, 2 Stonechats, Nuthatch, Bullfinch heard, 6 Linnets and 2 Goldfinches.

Friday 11September 2026. Beeding Hill triangle with Otis, 08:30-13:15. 2 Stock Doves, Sparrowhawk, Red Kite, 2 Buzzards, 7 Kestrels, 3 Jays, 3 Ravens, 16 Blue Tits, 6 House Martins, 5 Long-tailed Tits, 5 Chiffchaff, Blackcap, a Lesser and 6 Common Whitethroats, Nuthatch heard (near Youth Hostel), 2 Spotted Flycatchers, 12 Robins, 2 Whinchats, 4 Stonechats, 13 Wheatears, 85 Meadow Pipits, Yellow Wagtail (on road N of Mill Hill) and a flock of c250 Linnets. Coombes Field 4 Dogs with Megan and Otis: Red Kite, 2 Buzzards, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Kestrel, Peregrine and 2 Jays.
