Beeding Hill triangle with Otis. 34 Stock Doves, 2 Red Kites, 2 Buzzards, 2 Kestrels, 2 Hobbys, 11 Skylarks, 8 Swallows, 5 House Martins, Willow Warbler, 10 Chiffchaffs, 15 Stonechats, Wheatear, 8 Pied Wagtails, 45 Meadow Pipits, 50 Linnets, Corn Bunting and 3 Yellowhammers.

Thursday 01 October 2025. Shoreham Boardwalk/Fort with Megan and Otis. 3 Sandwich Terns, 4 Little Egrets, Skylark heard, Swallow and 2 Meadow Pipits.
Friday 02 October 2026. No Man's Land/Monarch's Way with David Buckingham and Otis.5 Red-legged Partridges, 250 Stock Doves, 3 Red Kites, 3 Buzzards, Great Spotted Woodpecker, 2 Kestrels, Peregrine, Raven, 10 Skylarks, 50 Swallows, 15 House Martins, 10 Chiffchaffs, 13 Stonechats, 3 Wheatears, 12 Meadow Pipits, 5 Chaffinches, 15 Linnets, 5 Corn Buntings and 6 Yellowhammers. Colin holter was ahead of us and saw 2 Ring Ouzels. They were flushed by two joggers who overtook us soon after we arrived. I should have picked up David at 08:00 rather than 08:15. I was particularly pleased with my Kestrel photos and have gone rather over the top below.

Saturday 03 October 2026. Lancing Ring and Steepdown with Megan and Otis. 2 Sparrowhawks, 3 Red Kites, Jay, 25 Skylarks, 45 Swallows, 125 House Martins, 4 Chiffchaffs, Whinchat, 11 Stonechats, 70 Meadow Pipits, 40 Linnets, 18 Goldfinches and 4 Corn Buntings.
