Sussex between trips (6-21 June)

A couple of weeks at home between trips to Scandinavia with Megan and Japan with Nick. No where near long enough to shake off my usual post trip apathy, especially with a lot to get on top of for Japan.

Swifts have been over our road most evenings when I've looked with a maximum of at least 22 on 11 June. Other highlights were few and far between with 2 Nightjars but only one heard Woodcock at Lavington on 8th (and I've run out of time for a final survey there), Lesser Whitethroat at Mill Hill with Megan on 12th and Yellowhammer and 4 Meadow Pipits at Cissbury Ring on 15th, a single Ringed Plover on Southwick Beach one morning and nothing at all on the Adur.
