Friday 19th March 1982: Kalopani and surrounding area (6 miles)
After an excellent breakfast of oat porridge and fried potatoes I was out from 08:00-17:45. A pleasant casual day birding at Kalopani and Lete with excellent weather and lots of ‘sit down’ stops. I saw my first rhododendrons in flower. I now really like the See You Lodge (I hadn’t been too impressed with it on the way up). My lazy day continued with the paucity of this diary entry.
