Tuesday 23rd March 1982: Ghasa and surrounding area (8 miles)
We were up at 05:50 trying for Cheer Pheasant on the grassy slopes opposite Ghasa, but had no success. It was rather treacherous as the grass was wet. I spent the rest of day birding leisurely at low altitude (having had enough of climbing the nearby hills). A flock of 4 Pink-browed Rosefinches were very welcome new birds on an otherwise rather quiet day.
