Sunday 21st March 1982: Ghasa and hill opposite (7 miles), Jomson Trek, Nepal
Ponies on the move woke me before dawn. I spent whole day high on first hillside opposite Ghasa looking for Impeyan Pheasant, but the only large pheasant seen was a Koklas (flying away calling). Climbed up solidly for three hours then returned slowly. Hot and sunny until 16:00 when it started to rain. Returned to lodge at 17:45 after 10 hours in the field to find Richard Scofield there. Good to chat to him. Over ate on Tibetan bread and daal bhat.
